Contains the following types of materials: photographs, picture postcards. Covers the following war : World War I (WWI). General description of the collection: The Henry J. Reilly photograph collection is composed of three subjects: World War I, picture postcards of scenes in the United States (U.S.) and photos and picture post cards of scenes in China and Chinese officials. The bulk of the collection is the World War I photos. These are official British and French photos from their national repositories. All these photos are under copyright so anyone requesting copies of them must go to the repositiory so noted. A selection of twenty-four postcards of the Bonus Army's camp in Washington, D.C. in 1932 is also under copyright so anyone asking . Other postcard photos in this collection are of Hawaii; Quebec; Chicago; Lawrence, Kansas; the Bear Mountain Bridge over the Hudson River, New York; Appomattox, Petersburg, Richmond and Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. There are several official portraits of Chinese officials from the 1930s and over 70 picture postcards of scenes in China during this period.
